A recent survey conducted by Rural Free State (RFS) has revealed the opinions of the residents of Mafube Local Municipality regarding the current scheduling of load-shedding. The survey, which was distributed on Facebook, the RFS Website, and Link Sharing, received a total of 291 responses, providing a good representation of the community.
The survey results showed that a majority of residents prefer load-shedding to be conducted at night. See the graph below.

Furthermore, 68.7% of respondents prefer more frequent but shorter load-shedding sessions. See the graph below.

The Rural Free State team will be using the results of this survey to look at ways to better serve the community of Mafube where circumstances allow.
